The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaper throws a head kick that misses.
Ruiz looks to land a combination but Reaper avoids it well.
Ruiz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bobby Reaper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reaper misses with a combination
and Ruiz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ruiz misses with a wild combination.

Ruiz rushes Reaper and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Ruiz scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ruiz lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ruiz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Reaper throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ruiz counters with a one-two to the body.

Ruiz lands a brutal uppercut that launches Reaper off his feet! Reaper tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
