Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cirilo Galiei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Dirt!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galiei closes the distance looking to clinch

and Dirt holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Dirt manages to break the clinch.
Galiei tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Dirt counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dirt.

Dirt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dirt leaves Galiei with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Dirt moves into range and clinches up with Galiei.

Dirt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Joe Dirt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Galiei dodges the punch combination from Dirt.

Galiei stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Galiei wants it to stay on the feet.
Cirilo Galiei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Dirt.
Galiei looks to clinch

and Dirt counters with a single leg into guard. Galiei didn't expect that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Dirt is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dirt drops back, looking for a kneebar! Galiei looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Galiei looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Galiei!

Galiei wants to stand but Dirt is controlling his arm.
Dirt is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Dirt is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Galiei pulls his head out easily.
Galiei seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dirt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Galiei really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Galiei tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dirt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Galiei closes the distance but Dirt moves to the side
and Dirt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Dirt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Galiei's guard.
Galiei will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dirt is breathing heavily.

Galiei tries to control but Dirt wriggling away.

Dirt is squirming around, avoiding Galiei's attempts to control the action.
Dirt bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Galiei wants to get up but he can't break Dirt's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Joe Dirt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
