Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oslyn Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Utah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johny Utah will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Utah shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rose pinned against the cage. Rose gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Utah takes a swing at Rose's ribcage but misses.

Rose closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Utah to the mat! Utah manages to get full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Rose sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Utah's guard.
Utah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rose. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Utah pushes Rose off looking to stand but Rose dives back in and keeps control.

Rose decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Rose stands up and beckons Utah to his feet.
Utah tries to clinch up but Rose circles away and keeps his distance.
Rose leaves Utah with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Utah wants to take the fight to the mat but Rose manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

and Rose counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Utah is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Utah fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rose looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
