Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Wimpy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Hallmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerry Wimpy had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Hallmann. Those never looked like landing.
Hallmann throws a series of punches but Wimpy moves out of range.
Wimpy goes for a double leg but Hallmann avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hallmann continues to drive forward.
Wimpy dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Wimpy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hallmann wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hallmann is trying to push Wimpy away but Wimpy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Wimpy jumps guard but Hallmann turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Wimpy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hallmann gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Wimpy has had enough of the clinch but Hallmann keeps him there for the moment.

Wimpy is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Hallmann blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Hallmann has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Wimpy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wimpy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hallmann as he jumps to the side.
Hallmann throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Wimpy is breathing heavily.
Hallmann throws a combination that misses

so Wimpy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hallmann utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wimpy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Wimpy won't allow Hallmann to sweep him here.
Hallmann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wimpy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Piotr Hallmann has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hallmann moves out of range of the body kick from Wimpy.

Wimpy forces Hallmann back against the cage and clinches.
Hallmann stops a takedown attempt from Wimpy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hallmann tries a body shot but Wimpy blocks it.
Wimpy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hallmann gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Wimpy breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jerry Wimpy dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hallmann fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wimpy manages to avoid it.
Nice uppercut there from Hallmann.

A jab-cross combination lands for Hallmann and sends Wimpy crashing to the mat! Hallmann follows him down to the mat - Wimpy regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Wimpy is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hallmann lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Wimpy! More strikes land and this one is all over! Hallmann jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
