Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Wise!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Davie Anderson!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wise closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Wise is thwarting Anderson's attempts to control the position.
Wise slips a nice elbow through Anderson's hands, connecting with Anderson's forehead.

Anderson manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Wise shoots in but Anderson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Davie Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wise misses with a wild body shot.

Wise shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wise is taking a breather. Anderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wise lands a nice short elbow.
Wise has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wise thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Anderson's head.
Wise wants to get back to his feet.
Anderson is trying to get back to full guard.
Wise looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Anderson is looking to escape.

Wise decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Wise throws a jab when Anderson was well out of range.
Anderson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Davie Anderson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Anderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wise throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Anderson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Anderson looks to land a combination but Wise avoids it well.
Anderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wise moves away.
Wise misses with a straight left.
Anderson looks to land a combination but Wise avoids it well.
Anderson looks gassed!
Anderson misses with a few strikes there.
Wise slips a straight right by Anderson.
Wise drops Anderson with a right and a left! Wise comes rushing in but Anderson regains his composure and manages to keep Wise in guard.


Anderson is rocked!


It looks like Davie Anderson has been cut.
Wise sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Anderson's guard.
Anderson is still in real trouble! Can Wise finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wise escapes and gets back to his feet.
A slapping body kick lands there for Wise.
Wise lands a nice looking kick to the body. Anderson takes a step back to recover.
Anderson seems to have recovered his senses.

Wise changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anderson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Anderson explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Anderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wise lands a lovely overhand right.
Wise misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wise shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wise missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Anderson is trying to stand up here but Wise is controlling him well.
Wise slips a nice elbow through Anderson's hands, connecting with Anderson's forehead.
Wise scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Anderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wise is working away from the top position though.
Wise works his way into full mount!

Wise landing punches.
Wise sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wise trying to control but Anderson is having none of it.

Wise misses with a body kick.
Anderson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wise sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wise is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Anderson can do to turn this around?
Anderson scores with a jab to the body.
Wise misses with a takedown attempt - Anderson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wise lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wise.
Anderson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Anderson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wise sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wise stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Wise feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Anderson can't keep his opponent in guard - Wise advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet.

Anderson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wise scores with a couple of nice shots.
Anderson is looking for a sweep. Wise is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Wise is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Wise seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Anderson wants to get back to full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wise lands with a cross.
Wise throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Wise shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anderson's guard.

Anderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wise can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Anderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wise is controlling him.

Wise decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Wise moves into range and clinches up with Anderson.

Wise throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Wise throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wise fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderson manages to avoid it.
Anderson tries to land a front kick but Wise steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Wise shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wise lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Anderson is looking to escape.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wise is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wise gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Anderson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wise lands a head shot.
Wise is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Wise shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Wise controlling the position easily from mount.
Wise wants to control the pace but Anderson is squirming around nicely.

Wise is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Anderson has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Anderson can't escape the position.

Wise has hold of Anderson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Anderson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Anderson manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Anderson is trying to get back to full guard.

Wise decides to stand and escape the position.

Wise tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Anderson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Anderson tries to keep at a distance but Wise has taken the fight into the clinch.
Anderson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wise backwards.

Wise has Anderson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Anderson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
A nice right hand lands inside from Anderson.

Dennis Wise is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wise blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Anderson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Anderson throws a punch but it's blocked by Wise.

Anderson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wise throws a right and a left that Anderson avoids nicely.
Anderson misses with a wild body shot.

Wise scores with a takedown into Anderson's guard.
Anderson is looking to stand up but Wise isn't so interested in that idea.
Anderson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Well Wise has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
