Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Apollo Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Vector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vector has chosen Hollywood Undead-Undead as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vector pushes Takamura up against the ropes in a clinch.

Vector tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Vector lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Vector stalling in the clinch but Takamura improves position.
Vector has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Vector gets through Takamura's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Vector tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Takamura manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Takamura feints a jab promting Vector to slip. Takamura then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Vector slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Takamura counters with a one-two to the body.

Vector with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vector does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Takamura bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Takamura cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vector lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Takamura circles away quickly and effectively.

Takamura fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Apollo Takamura will probably get the nod.
