The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partridge shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Casseday as he avoids it easily.

Casseday clinches up with Partridge and pushes him back against the cage.
Partridge can't get the takedown.

Partridge pulls guard.
Casseday tries to free his leg and advance position but Partridge is retaining full guard.
Partridge looking to hit a scissor sweep but Casseday is one step ahead there.
Casseday throws a strike but Partridge rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Casseday has an active guard here but Partridge has managed to pass into half guard.
Casseday is looking to improve his position.
Casseday wants to control but Partridge is keeping busy.

Casseday is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

Casseday bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Casseday wants to control from the top but Partridge keeps moving.
Partridge controls Casseday momentarily but Casseday frees himself.
Casseday sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Partridge's guard.

Casseday stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Partridge has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Casseday manages to get his head free but now Partridge has transitioned to an armbar! Casseday grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Partridge! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
