Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Samoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samoth comes to the cage accompanied by Judas Priest - Painkiller. Johnny Pitbull has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samoth swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pitbull.

Samoth ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pitbull moves away.

Pitbull gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Samoth throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Samoth misses with some punches.
Pitbull wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pitbull tries to stall but Samoth uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Pitbull blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Samoth tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Samoth has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Pitbull is trying to keep an underhook but Samoth manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Samoth throws a strike but Pitbull rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Samoth has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pitbull's face.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Samoth unloads with some shots from mount but Pitbull bucks and avoids them well.

You get the feeling that Pitbull really doesn't like being in this position too much.
BOOM! Samoth connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Samoth won't let Pitbull get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Samoth wants to control the pace but Pitbull is squirming around nicely.

Samoth does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Samoth will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mikael Samoth.
