Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Pierre Babin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Babin comes into the arena with Nutshot - Team Headkick blaring out of the sound system. Gray comes into a darkened arena with his song building. make love not war baby kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Babin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Babin looks for the body kick but Gray saw that one coming.
Babin throws a leg kick which misses Gray's front leg but catches the back leg as Gray tries to avoid it.

Good leg kick by Babin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Babin throws a push kick but Gray slaps the foot to one side.
Gray lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Babin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gray was well out of range. Poor timing from Babin.

Babin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Babin is pressed up against the cage. Gray has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Babin down to the mat. Babin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Babin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Babin is pawing at Gray, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Gray's nose. Gray is badly hurt! Babin pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Gray tries desperately to hold on but Babin is relentless in his assault! As Gray receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Babin away and this one is in the books!
