The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Buakaw lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rocha has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rocha and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Buakaw fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rocha has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Buakaw closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rocha quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Buakaw's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Buakaw seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rocha for as long as he can get away with.
Buakaw could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rocha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buakaw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
