Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Santos Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Junior.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Junior misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Junior sprawls well.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Junior.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Junior swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Junior looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Junior tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Junior looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.

Junior throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Junior keeps Jones at a distance using the push kick.

Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Junior on his heels. He'll look to pass Junior's guard now, I'm sure.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Jones stops Junior from standing up.

Jones wants to pass the guard but Junior is keeping the position.
Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Jones wants to control from the top but Junior keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Nate Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.

Junior breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Junior moves into range and clinches up with Jones.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jones wants to control from the top but Junior keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Junior is bucking up trying to escape but Jones cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Jones cracks Junior with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
