Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Vanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trygve Bondevik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vanko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Oh No by Gogol Bordello. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bondevik shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bondevik wants to control from the top but Vanko keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bondevik is looking to advance position but Vanko has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Vanko postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bondevik looks a forlorn figure.

Bondevik is bucking up trying to escape but Vanko cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Vanko lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bondevik hang on?

A big strike lands for Vanko! That's really hurt Bondevik and he's turned his back - Vanko keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Vanko jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
