Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silas Peppercorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Stoker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silas Peppercorn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pat Stoker!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoker throws out a leg kick but Peppercorn moves out of range and Stoker only half commits.
Stoker chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Peppercorn can pounce on him.
A head kick from Peppercorn lands but Stoker takes it in his stride.
Stoker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Stoker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Peppercorn sprawls well initially but Stoker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Stoker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Peppercorn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Stoker missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Peppercorn is trying to stand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stoker sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Peppercorn defending well though.
Stoker thows a huge punch but Peppercorn dodges it nicely.
Stoker is looking to take a break and control but Peppercorn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Peppercorn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stoker is working away from the top position though.
Peppercorn is trying to stand up here but Stoker is controlling him well.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Silas Peppercorn wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Peppercorn throws a head kick that misses.
Peppercorn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stoker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Peppercorn somewhat.
Peppercorn throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Stoker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Peppercorn is not content to let Stoker control the position.
Stoker looks winded!
Peppercorn wants to get back to his feet.
Peppercorn is trying to get back to full guard.

Peppercorn makes his way to full guard, as Stoker worked for a kimura.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stoker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Peppercorn trying to keep a closed guard but Stoker is proving a slippery customer.

Peppercorn is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stoker is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Peppercorn pushes Stoker off and gets back to his feet.
Stoker takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Stoker throws a body punch but Peppercorn moves out of range.
Peppercorn shoots in for a takedown but Stoker shows good takedown defense.

Stoker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Peppercorn wants to control but Stoker postures up.

Peppercorn sneaks back into half guard.
Peppercorn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Peppercorn.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stoker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Peppercorn trying to keep a closed guard but Stoker is proving a slippery customer.
Peppercorn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stoker!

Peppercorn gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Peppercorn tries to close the distance and clinch but Stoker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Peppercorn lands with a slapping head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peppercorn scores with a head kick. Stoker tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Stoker.
Peppercorn wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stoker tries for a kimura but Peppercorn is defending well.
Peppercorn is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stoker has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Stoker is breathing heavily.

Stoker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stoker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Peppercorn manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Peppercorn gets full guard.
Stoker postures up.
Stoker won't allow Peppercorn to get back to his feet.
Peppercorn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Peppercorn is on top in guard.

Peppercorn stands up and waves to Stoker to follow him.
Peppercorn connects with a crisp jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Peppercorn jabs Stoker right on the nose. Stoker blinks but takes it well.
Peppercorn goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peppercorn throws a sloppy head kick and Stoker moves out of range easily.
Peppercorn lands with a kick to the temple. Stoker shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Pat Stoker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stoker tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Peppercorn avoids the head kick by Stoker.
Peppercorn lands a head kick!
The fight stays on the outside here - Peppercorn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Peppercorn goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Peppercorn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stoker but Stoker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Peppercorn slips a jab and a cross from Stoker.
Peppercorn connects with a leg kick. Stoker looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pat Stoker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peppercorn misses with a hook.
Stoker shoots in looking for a takedown but Peppercorn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stoker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Peppercorn plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Peppercorn.
Peppercorn throws a sloppy head kick and Stoker moves out of range easily.
Peppercorn checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A slapping body kick lands there for Peppercorn.
Peppercorn lands a head kick. Stoker smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Peppercorn throws a head kick but Stoker moves out of range.
Stoker fails with an attempt to clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stoker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A solid leg kick lands there for Peppercorn.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silas Peppercorn dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Stoker clinches up against the cage.

Stoker manages to pull guard.
Peppercorn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stoker is proving hard to escape from.
Stoker looking for a sweep. Not yet Stoker, not yet.
Peppercorn wanted to stand there but Stoker had control of the position.
Peppercorn controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Stoker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Peppercorn wants to get up but he can't break Stoker's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Stoker wants to get back to his feet but Peppercorn is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Peppercorn tries to stand but Stoker is controlling from the bottom.
Silas Peppercorn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Peppercorn slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Peppercorn wants to control but Stoker is keeping him busy.
Stoker is looking to regain half guard here but Peppercorn keeps moving and retains side control.

Peppercorn stands up.

Peppercorn plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Peppercorn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stoker keeps working.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Peppercorn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stoker.
A head kick misses from Peppercorn.
Peppercorn misses the shot to the body.
Some wild striking there from Stoker.
Stoker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Peppercorn.
Peppercorn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stoker pinned against the cage. Stoker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Peppercorn throws a head kick that misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Silas Peppercorn showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Peppercorn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
