Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shivakamini Somakandarkram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dima Safronov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Somakandarkram might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shiva Song. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Dima Safronov enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Safronov gets a double leg takedown into Somakandarkram's guard.

Safronov is looking to work some ground and pound but Somakandarkram has wrist control.

Safronov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Somakandarkram. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Safronov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Somakandarkram has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Safronov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Somakandarkram has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Safronov doesn't defend quickly enough and Somakandarkram has managed to lock this one up! Can Safronov escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Somakandarkram on a fantastic submission victory.
