Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Thiaguinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dong Yung Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park stuffs the takedown.
Luiz Thiaguinho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thiaguinho shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thiaguinho showed some decent athleticism there.
Park is looking for a sweep. Thiaguinho is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Thiaguinho escapes and gets back to his feet.
Thiaguinho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Park sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thiaguinho somewhat.
Park gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Thiaguinho has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Park is proving hard to escape from.
Thiaguinho has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Park bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thiaguinho's guard.

Park wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thiaguinho keeps working.
Park lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Park looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Park tries to pass to full mount but Thiaguinho defends it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Park has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Thiaguinho's face.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Park content just to control the position here.
Park has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Thiaguinho's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dong Yung Park dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Park feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Park chips away with some ground and pound.

Park passes Thiaguinho's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Park seems to be working for a kimura but Thiaguinho defends the submission attempt.
Park wants to take a breather but Thiaguinho is having none of it.
Park moves nicely into side control.
Park landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Park connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Thiaguinho some visible discomfort.

Thiaguinho tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Park has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Park has an Americana. Thiaguinho didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Park is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Park hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
