The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiptanui tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A telegraphed right hand from Driggs misses the target.
Driggs throws a jab but it's blocked by Kiptanui.
Kiptanui drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kiptanui is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Driggs is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Driggs has escaped and now he's on top!
Driggs stands up from Kiptanui's guard - Driggs perhaps looking for a knockout.
Kiptanui shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Driggs as he jumps to the side.
Kiptanui ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kiptanui misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kiptanui moves away from the strike by Driggs.
Kiptanui uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Driggs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kiptanui drops his hands momentarily and Driggs takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Driggs misses with a looping right.
Kiptanui looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A jab from Kiptanui misses.
Kiptanui has a takedown stuffed.
Driggs scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Julio Driggs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kiptanui moves in looking to clinch but Driggs pushes him off.
Kiptanui tries to clinch up.
Driggs misses the shot to the body.
Kiptanui stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Driggs.
Driggs slips under a jab from Kiptanui.
Driggs misses with a double jab.
Driggs missing with a left hand there. Kiptanui was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Driggs fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Driggs jabs Kiptanui to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Driggs fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Driggs lands with a right and another and another! Kiptanui is in big trouble! Driggs lands again and this time it's lights out for Kiptanui! A quality knockout there for Driggs.

A relieved looking Julio Driggs thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
