Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bod Zio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bishop might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Aggro?. Zio has chosen Old Mcdonald had a farm as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Bishop.
Zio throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Zio connects with a looping right hand.
Zio scores with a decent looking hook.
Bishop scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Zio pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bishop is out of range and Zio settles back down.
Bishop on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bishop avoids the body shot from Zio.
Zio swings for the body but Bishop moves out of range.
Zio throws an off balance right hand
and Bishop counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bishop wants to pass the guard but Zio is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bishop had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zio defends it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bishop is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bishop is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Billy Bishop will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zio looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zio throws a low kick but Bishop avoids it.

Zio tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Bishop thuds a left hand into Zio's body.
Bishop tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bishop uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zio.
Nice defenses there by Bishop.
Zio wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Bishop pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zio misses with a looping left.

Zio motions for Bishop to come forward. Zio throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Zio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bishop paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bishop takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Billy Bishop has been cut.
Zio misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bishop.
Zio waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bishop.
Zio cracks Bishop with a good jab.
Zio throws an overhand right that lands on Bishop's shoulder, as Bishop tries to avoid the shot.
Zio scores with a jab to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Bishop misses the target.
Bishop throws a low kick but Zio avoids it.
Bishop fails in his attempt to clinch.
That kick from Bishop tenderised Zio's leg. Zio is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bishop jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bishop.
Bishop throws a leg kick that misses.

A low kick from Bishop is predictable there
and Zio counters with an outside leg kick.
Zio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bishop manages to avoid it.
Bishop jabs at Zio's body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Bishop counters with a single leg into guard. Zio didn't expect that.
Bishop lands a couple of digs.

Bishop wants to control from the top but Zio keeps moving.
Zio preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Zio controls Bishop momentarily but Bishop frees himself.
Bishop stands up over Zio, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Zio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bishop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bishop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bishop is posturing up here but Zio has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bishop tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bishop has to tap! Slick submission there by Zio!

A relieved looking Bod Zio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
