Bravo tries for a takedown but Powers manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Bravo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bravo wants the takedown. Powers is fighting it off but Bravo persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Powers's guard against the cage.
Bravo forces his way into half guard.
Bravo drops an elbow to the side of Powers's head.

Bravo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Powers has managed to free his arm - good work.
Powers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bravo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bravo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Powers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bravo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Powers!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Powers can do anything to dispel that myth.

Powers is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Bravo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
