The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruent gets caught napping as Chan dives in and scores a takedown. Ruent manages to retain guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Chan throwing strikes from guard but Ruent blocks nicely.
