Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chad Ocho Cinco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ocho Cinco tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.
Ocho Cinco shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Ocho Cinco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Ocho Cinco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Ocho Cinco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ocho Cinco is breathing heavily.

Jones has Ocho Cinco up against the cage in a clinch.

Jones manages to pull guard.
Jones thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Ocho Cinco is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jones has Ocho Cinco pulled in close to control his posture.
Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jones decides to pull guard.
Jones is pulling down on Ocho Cinco's head. It's preventing any offense from Ocho Cinco, at least for the moment.
Jones's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Jones looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jones is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Ocho Cinco from controlling successfully.
Ocho Cinco is really struggling to control Jones but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Ocho Cinco slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jones is not content to let Ocho Cinco control the position.
Jones is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ocho Cinco asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Ocho Cinco wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.
Jones wants to control but Ocho Cinco postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ocho Cinco decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Jones drives through and clinches with Ocho Cinco against the cage.

Jones pulls guard effortlessly.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ocho Cinco working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jones is trying to control the position but Ocho Cinco postures up.
Ocho Cinco prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Ocho Cinco from controlling successfully.
Jones controls Ocho Cinco momentarily but Ocho Cinco frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Jones drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ocho Cinco wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.

Ocho Cinco had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jones is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ocho Cinco Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jones's back instead.
Jones has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Jones turns into Ocho Cinco and is now in his guard.
Jones passes Ocho Cinco's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jones slows the pace down in half guard.

Jones works his way into side control.
Jones lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ocho Cinco down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Ocho Cinco is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Jones is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Ocho Cinco is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.
Jones with shots to the head and body - Ocho Cinco looks very uncomfortable down there.
Jones wants to control the pace but Ocho Cinco is squirming around nicely.

Ocho Cinco is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.

Jones stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jones prevents Ocho Cinco from improving his position.

Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Ocho Cinco manages to get to full guard.

Jones stands and steps away. Ocho Cinco gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ocho Cinco wants to improve his position but instead Jones has moved into half guard.
Ocho Cinco tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Jones is taking a breather. Ocho Cinco says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Ocho Cinco regains full guard. Nicely done.
Jones thows a big elbow that misses.

Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Ocho Cinco counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice straight punches there by Jones. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jones.

Ocho Cinco drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Jones is pushing down on Ocho Cinco's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ocho Cinco is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jones tries to pass to full mount but Ocho Cinco defends it.

Jones trying to control the action but Ocho Cinco is working from the bottom.
Jones is controlling the pace.

Jones is working for a kimura but Ocho Cinco is defending it quite comfortably.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jones wants to control for a moment but Ocho Cinco uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Jones gets back to full guard.

Ocho Cincois looking to pass into half guard but Jones pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jones is in guard.
Ocho Cinco is trying to keep Jones in close.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ocho Cinco is on top in guard.
Ocho Cinco wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ocho Cinco!
Chad Ocho Cinco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Jon Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
