Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Staal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neo Kable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that John Staal has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Staal seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Neo Kable!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kable on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Staal tries to score with a low kick but Kable moves his leg out of the way.
Staal swings for the body but Kable moves out of range.
Kable throws a shot from downtown. Staal moves away and avoids it.
Staal misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kable.
Staal fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Staal just misses with a punch to the body.
Staal tries a head kick but it misses.
Staal takes a swing at Kable's ribcage but misses.
Kable misses with an attempted mid kick.
Staal clobbers Kable with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kable tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Staal paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kable misses with an uppercut
and Staal counters with a nice body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Staal scoring well with a low kick there.

Kable tries to close the distance and clinch but Staal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Staal throws a hook but Kable blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kable avoids the body shot from Staal.
Kable swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Staal.
A jab from Kable finds it's way through Staal's defenses.
Kable lands a nice hook to Staal's body. Staal takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A solid leg kick lands there for Kable.
Staal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kable manages to avoid it.
Kable takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kable drops Staal with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Staal looks back up at him and smiles so Kable waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Staal is rocked!
It looks like John Staal has been cut.
Kable checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Oh Staal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Staal throws a leg kick
and Kable counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Neo Kable! Neo Kable retains his super heavyweight title!
A very excited looking Neo Kable made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
