Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feodore Sabre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chuck Liddel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Feodore Sabre!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sabre is defended easily by Liddel.
Liddel misses with a kick to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Liddel.

Liddel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sabre postures up.
Liddel wants to stand but Sabre is controlling the position.

Liddel has his foot on Sabre's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sabre works his way back into a safe position though.

Feodore Sabre has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Sabre shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liddel as he jumps to the side.

Sabre shoots for a double leg takedown but Liddel sprawls well. He's pushed Sabre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Horrible takedown by Sabre or perhaps it was just good defense by Liddel which made him look bad.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Liddel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sabre's waist but Sabre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Liddel off to one side.

Sabre fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Liddel to the ground. Sabre is now in Liddel's guard.
Liddel is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Liddel wants to stand up but Sabre is controlling him.
Sabre wants to control from the top but Liddel keeps moving.

Liddel throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sabre escapes and throws Liddel's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Liddel is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sabre connects with a decent elbow.
Liddel is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Feodore Sabre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sabre closes the distance and clinches up with Liddel, looking for a takedown. Sabre pushes Liddel against the cage but Liddel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Liddel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sabre but Sabre pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Liddel refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Liddel's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
