Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexandre Nieto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nieto might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bullet the Blue Sky. Gomi has chosen Scary as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Takanori Gomi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi throws a series of punches but Nieto moves out of range.
Gomi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nieto can pounce on him.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Gomi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Nieto is not content to let Gomi control the position.
Gomi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Gomi lands strikes from half guard.
Gomi is trying to control the action in half guard but Nieto is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Gomi lands with a punch from half guard.

Gomi taking a breather but there's no such thing in a fight! Nieto has locked on to a kimura from the bottom - he uses it to sweep and is now looking to finish from the top position! He's got it! Gomi has tapped! Great work by Nieto! Lay and pray doesn't pay, kids! Just remember, you heard it here first.
