Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Maicon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Son Of God (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Son Of God will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
God missing with a left hand there. Maicon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Maicon takes the fight into the clinch.
God misses with a hook from the clinch.
God misses with a knee strike.
God using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Maicon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Maicon pulls God into guard.

God got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maicon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, God has managed to get both his arms back between Maicon's legs - danger averted.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Maicon holds on and takes a little breather.

Maicon has control of God's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and God regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyler Maicon.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maicon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tyler Maicon decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
