McNulty's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Still I Rise - Shadows Fall. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Carver McNulty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Ring!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ring lands a nice looking body shot.
McNulty shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from McNulty.
McNulty looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ring clobbers McNulty with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McNulty slips under a jab.
Ring listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
McNulty shoots for a takedown but Ring saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carver McNulty. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ring lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ring throws a jab when McNulty was well out of range.
Ring cracks McNulty with a good jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ring slaps away a takedown attempt from McNulty, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McNulty is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ring cracks McNulty with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ring punishes McNulty's body with a nice straight punch.
Ring lands a nice looking body shot.
McNulty is breathing heavily.
McNulty fails with a takedown attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ring is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A punch lands to the side of McNulty 's head but he takes it in his stride.
McNulty has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McNulty there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ring is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! McNulty had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

McNulty is rocked!
McNulty is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Oh McNulty is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McNulty fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ring stuns McNulty with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McNulty seems to have got his legs back now.

McNulty shoots in and gets a takedown into Ring's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ring looking to hit a scissor sweep but McNulty is one step ahead there.
Ring wants to stand and escape but McNulty is having none of it.
McNulty is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
McNulty trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ring has momentary wrist control but McNulty slips an elbow through the middle.
Ring controls McNulty momentarily but McNulty frees himself.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ring holds on and takes a little breather.

McNulty with a flurry of punches that miss.
Ring is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ring avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ring is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Josh Ring wasn't active enough on the ground.
McNulty fails to land with a series of punches.
McNulty shoots in but Ring avoids the takedown attempt easily.

McNulty closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ring's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ring uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Josh Ring is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ring scores with a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ring swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ring scores with a crisp jab that stopped McNulty in his tracks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McNulty shoots in looking for a takedown. Ring tries to sprawl out of it but McNulty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ring manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McNulty tries to move into range but Ring moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
McNulty looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Good standup being displayed there by Ring as he connects with a hook.
McNulty dives in and grabs Ring's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ring pushes down on McNulty's head and hops out.
Jab, jab by Ring - just one landing.
McNulty shoots in for a takedown but Ring shows good takedown defense.
Ring scores with a sloppy right hand. McNulty should have avoided that one.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ring digs a good hook to McNulty's body.
Ring digs a good body shot into McNulty's ribs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McNulty is defended easily by Ring.
Ring scores with a nice right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Ring dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


McNulty walks into a jab.
McNulty shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ring but Ring pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McNulty takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ring connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Josh Ring seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ring connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ring lands with an uppercut that bounces McNulty off the cage and back into range.
Ring dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice body punch from Ring.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ring's jab looks to have found its range, popping McNulty under the eye.
Ring connects with a single shot there.
Ring connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between McNulty's hands.
Ring scores with a shot to the body.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McNulty is looking to clinch.
Carver McNulty is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ring throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McNulty stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

McNulty on the wrong end of a nice hook.
McNulty takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ring throws a hook but McNulty avoids it easily.
McNulty takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McNulty walks straight into a right hand from Ring - that's dropped him! Ring jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save McNulty from any more punishment! McNulty complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Josh Ring!
Josh Ring was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
