Mcgregor moves away from the strike by Tarasov.
Good standup being displayed there by Tarasov as he connects with a hook.
Ewan Mcgregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tarasov thows a body shot but no joy.
Mcgregor doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tarasov counters with a stiff right hand.
A lazy left from Tarasov finds it's target.
A right-left combo lands from Mcgregor.
Tarasov uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mcgregor throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Tarasov throws a poor cross that misses
and Mcgregor counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mcgregor tries for a takedown but Tarasov circles away easily

and Tarasov counters with a nice right hand that sends Mcgregor toppling to the canvas! Mcgregor scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tarasov finish him?!

Oh Mcgregor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Tarasov scores with a counter punch that sends Mcgregor to the canvas! Tarasov smells blood - he's punishing Mcgregor with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Mcgregor has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Mikhail Tarasov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
