The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dekker scoring well with a low kick there.
Daross tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dekker connects with a jab.

It looks like Hendrik Daross has been cut.
Daross scores with a kick to the midsection.
Both fighters circling a little - Daross finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Dekker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dekker has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Daross should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dekker has tightened it up now! Daross should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Roene Dekker decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
