The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lova rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Hodgins counters with a head kick that drops Lova!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lova pulls Hodgins in close to his closed guard and prevents Hodgins from doing any damage or advancing position.

Dova Lova has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Lova on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
No joy there for Hodgins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lova seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hodgins shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Lova is backing up but Hodgins catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Lova covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hodgins Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Hodgins!
Adam Hodgins spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
