PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Skip Church (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Primetime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Church comes into the arena with Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger blaring out of the sound system. Primetime has chosen I Get Money-50cent as his entrance music. Uriah Primetime told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Primetime avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Church throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Church misses with a looping left.
Primetime slips a jab from Church.
Church tries to close the distance and clinch but Primetime swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Primetime throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Church on the side of the head.
Church uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Primetime.
Primetime moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Church takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Church swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Church avoids a punch combination nicely.
Church connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Church thows a body shot but no joy.
Church throws out a loose jab but Primetime uses good head movement to avoid it.
Church listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Church gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd cheers as Primetime lands an impressive looking overhand right. Church doesn't seem phased though.

Church is rocked!
Primetime catches Church with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Church forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
