Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Kringle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Laak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kringle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wating on the world to change, by John Mayer. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laak attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kringle swats away the attempt to clinch by Laak.
Laak lands with a kick to the temple. Kringle shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Chris Kringle has been cut.
Kringle lands a nice looking kick to the body. Laak takes a step back to recover.
Kringle lands a nice looking body shot.

Kringle avoids the head kick by Laak.

Kringle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kringle throws a nice looking combination but Laak bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Laak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kringle shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Laak is trying to maintain the position but Kringle is very close to passing his half guard.
Laak keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Laak wants to control but Kringle is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Kringle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Laak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Laak kicks Kringle off and gets back to his feet.
Laak punishes Kringle's body with a nice straight punch.

Laak misses with an uppercut. Kringle saw that one coming.
Kringle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Kringle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Laak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kringle shoots for a takedown but Laak saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kringle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A jab lands there for Kringle.
Laak throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kringle stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Laak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kringle lands a big uppercut and Laak crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Laak looks OK. Kringle waves Laak back to his feet!

Laak is rocked!

It looks like Phil Laak has been cut.
Kringle lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Laak crumples to the floor! Kringle milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
