Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sailo Cylo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sailo Cylo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Ward!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cylo fails with the takedown
and Ward counters with a straight right hand.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ward misses with a combination
and Cylo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cylo slaps away a takedown attempt from Ward, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ward throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cylo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ward sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cylo somewhat.
Ward shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cylo as he avoids it easily.
Ward swings widly with a right hand
and Cylo counters with a series of strikes. Ward will be more careful next time no doubt.

Ward fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cylo, pushing him back against the cage.
Ward makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Cylo prevents a body shot from Ward.
Ward prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sailo Cylo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ward works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cylo tries to pull guard but Ward holds him up against the cage and eventually Cylo drops back down to his feet.

Ward lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cylo backwards.

Cylo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ward avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cylo is working for takedown but Ward is calmly controlling the position for now.
Cylo is breathing heavily.
Ward lands a nice shot to the body.
Cylo goes for a takedown attempt but Ward pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cylo closes the distance and clinches up with Ward, looking for a takedown. Cylo pushes Ward against the cage but Ward circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ward drives through and clinches with Cylo against the cage.
Cylo jumps guard but Ward stands there with Cylo around his waist. Cylo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ward lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cylo or not.

Ward throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

It looks like Sailo Cylo has been cut.
Ward manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ward scores with a shoulder strike.
Cylo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ward is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ward tries to throw a body punch but Cylo avoids it by throwing Ward back against the cage.
Cylo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ward pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ward swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cylo.

Ward manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cylo on his heels. He'll look to pass Cylo's guard now, I'm sure.
Cylo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ward controls the pace.

Ward got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cylo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ward has managed to get both his arms back between Cylo's legs - danger averted.
Ward controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
It looks like Ward might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Ward gets to his feet - Cylo follows without any prompting.

Oh Cylo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
