These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Colquitt!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colquitt throws a nice outside leg kick.
Dixon looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Dixon ducks under a wild hook from Colquitt.
Dixon dodges the punch combination from Colquitt.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Colquitt and Dixon goes tumbling to the canvas! Colquitt follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Colquitt trying to pass the guard but Dixon defending well.
Well, if Colquitt is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Colquitt wants to control but Dixon is keeping him busy.
Colquitt takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
It looks like Colquitt is going to stand back up.

Jack Colquitt has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Dixon avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No joy there for Colquitt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Colquitt cracks Dixon with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Dixon falls to his knees and Colquitt doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Colquitt!
