Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Luciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Savo Tieros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luciano comes to the cage accompanied by Still Ballin. Tieros has chosen All Over You-Live as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tieros darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Tieros is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Tieros seems to be working for a kimura but Luciano defends the submission attempt.
Tieros throws a strike but Luciano avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Luciano will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tieros stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luciano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tieros is looking to stand up but Luciano won't let him.

Tieros throws an elbow that misses. Luciano uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tieros's guard. Nice move by Luciano!

Tieros has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Luciano is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tieros.
Tieros is pushing Luciano's head away, looking to escape. Luciano manages to hold on to the position though.
Tieros tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Luciano doesn't succeed with the takedown

A momentary lapse in concentration from Luciano enables Tieros to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Luciano manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Tieros drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Luciano manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tieros has Luciano in his guard.
