Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is It's Dark and Hell Is Hot. Rodrigues has chosen Joe Walsh - In the City as his entrance music. Jake Rodrigues has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chuck Liddell's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chuck Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Rodrigues!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Liddell throws a right hand that misses
enabling Rodrigues to counter with a crisp jab.
Liddell takes a jab right on the kisser.
Liddell closes the distance but Rodrigues moves to the side
and Rodrigues counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
Liddell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Liddell shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodrigues tries to sprawl out of it but Liddell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Rodrigues manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Rodrigues! Liddell is backing up but he can't get away as Rodrigues lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Liddell and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jake Rodrigues!
Jake Rodrigues gave a mention to Torment Fightwear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
