Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quickski Mcgee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Riku Du!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Du circles away from the clinch attempt

and Du counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mcgee's guard now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Du throws a big elbow that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Du accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mcgee has momentary wrist control but Du slips an elbow through the middle.
Mcgee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Mcgee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Du is one step ahead there.
Du missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Mcgee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mcgee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Du scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Du has gone for a leg lock! Mcgee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Du's guard.

Du kicks Mcgee off and gets to his feet.
Mcgee tries to clinch but Du moves away
and Du counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Quickski Mcgee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Du ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mcgee closes the distance looking to clinch

and Du counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Du blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mcgee is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Du to keep the fight standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mcgee is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Du is defending well.
Mcgee is breathing heavily.
Mcgee misses with a knee strike.
Mcgee prevents Du from breaking the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Du.

Du lands a takedown into guard.
Du wants to control from the top but Mcgee keeps moving.

Du lands a couple of digs.

Du working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Du has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Du cracks Mcgee with a solid left hand.
Mcgee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Du on the ground.
Du lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Du postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Du lands a couple of elbows.
Du cracks Mcgee with a solid left hand.
Du passes Mcgee's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Du is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Du seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mcgee is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
