The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a nice outside leg kick.

Jackson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mcdougall blocks it with crossed arms.
Mcdougall jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Mcdougall around his waist. Mcdougall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mcdougall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Quinton Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown by Mcdougall or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad.
