Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Turnbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnnie Stalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turnbull comes to the cage accompanied by Never To Late. Stalker has chosen Keelhauled as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jack Turnbull could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnnie Stalker's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Turnbull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
22 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnnie Stalker!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stalker throws a sloppy head kick and Turnbull moves out of range easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Turnbull.
Turnbull fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Stalker is out of range.
Turnbull lands with a good body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Turnbull misses the target.
Turnbull walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stalker checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Stalker blocks the body kick.
Turnbull rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Stalker counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Stalker cracks a nice hook into Turnbull's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stalker fails to land the takedown.
Turnbull on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Turnbull finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Nice uppercut lands for Turnbull. That snapped Stalker's head back.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turnbull shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stalker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Stalker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Turnbull is aware though and is defending well.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Turnbull will probably get the nod.

Turnbull's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stalker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Turnbull scrambles back to his feet.
Turnbull shoots in and bounces Stalker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turnbull is looking to advance position but Stalker has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Stalker wants to control the pace but Turnbull is squirming around nicely.

Turnbull tries to lock up and control but Stalker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Turnbull is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Stalker connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Stalker is landing with some decent strikes but Turnbull is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Stalker unloads with some shots from mount but Turnbull bucks and avoids them well.
Stalker misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Stalker working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Turnbull slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.

Stalker is nestled in close to Turnbull, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Stalker is taking a breather. Turnbull says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Stalker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stalker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turnbull keeps working.

Stalker stands up over Turnbull, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stalker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Stalker throws a right hand that Turnbull ducks under and follows up with a left that Turnbull also avoids with ease.
Turnbull turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Stalker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turnbull's waist but Turnbull gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stalker off to one side.

Stalker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Turnbull sprawls well. Turnbull wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stalker gets slowly back to his feet.

Turnbull does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Turnbull tries to land a front kick but Stalker steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Stalker gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stalker makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Turnbull has a couple of punches blocked by Stalker.
Stalker is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Turnbull gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Stalker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Turnbull backwards.

Johnnie Stalker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stalker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
