Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alik Tseiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alik Tseiko!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tseiko tries to close the distance and clinch but Diaz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Diaz fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Tseiko takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Diaz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tseiko's head backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Diaz bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Tseiko! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Tseiko is rocked!

It looks like Alik Tseiko has been cut.
Diaz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tseiko is still in real trouble! Can Diaz finish him?
Diaz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Diaz is pushing down on Tseiko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tseiko is fighting to maintain full guard but Diaz has managed to sneak the leg through.
Diaz thows a huge punch but Tseiko dodges it nicely.
Tseiko wants to control but Diaz is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Diaz wants to take a breather but Tseiko is having none of it.
Tseiko seems to have recovered his senses.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tseiko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Diaz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Diaz seems to be looking for submissions.
Diaz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz prevents Tseiko from improving his position.
Tseiko is not content to let Diaz control the position.
Tseiko is trying to stand up here but Diaz is controlling him well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Diaz throws out a loose jab but Tseiko uses good head movement to avoid it.
Diaz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Diaz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tseiko on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Diaz lands with an uppercut that bounces Tseiko off the cage and back into range.

Tseiko manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Diaz on his heels. He'll look to pass Diaz's guard now, I'm sure.

Diaz throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Diaz is looking to cinch up a triangle. Tseiko throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Diaz's body to avoid the submission. Diaz has instead reached around Tseiko's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Diaz arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
