PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Warm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slim Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warm comes into the arena with Walk like an Egyptian blaring out of the sound system. Jim is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Any. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jim attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Warm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jim seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Luke Warm will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Jim lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jim.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Jim is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Warm has denied him.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jim - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Slim Jim.
Jim punishes Warm's body with a nice straight punch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Warm doesn't manage to clinch there - Jim circles away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jim.

Slim Jim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Slim Jim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Warm paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Slim Jim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Warm.
Warm throws a good cross that connects.

Jim is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Warm is aware though and is defending well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Warm, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
