Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maciej Dobrzynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kermit Earlandson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dobrzynski comes to the cage accompanied by Sabaton - Uprising. Earlandson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: the theme from titanic. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kermit Earlandson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Earlandson misses.

Earlandson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Earlandson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dobrzynski is just riding it out for now. Earlandson eventually gives up the hold.

Earlandson seems to be working for a kimura but Dobrzynski defends the submission attempt.
Dobrzynski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Earlandson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Earlandson's back!
Dobrzynski cracks Earlandson with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Earlandson from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Earlandson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dobrzynski is now in Earlandson's guard. A big mistake from Earlandson there, giving up the dominant position!

Earlandson has his foot on Dobrzynski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dobrzynski works his way back into a safe position though.

Dobrzynski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Earlandson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dobrzynski has managed to get both his arms back between Earlandson's legs - danger averted.

Earlandson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Earlandson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dobrzynski couldn't care less - he's delighted!

In his post fight interview, Maciej Dobrzynski started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
