The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Robinson wants it to stay on the feet.
Ferriera throws a head kick but Robinson moves out of range.
Ferriera wants to clinch up but Robinson keeps it at a distance.

Ferriera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robinson's waist but Robinson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ferriera off to one side.

Robinson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ferriera looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ferriera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robinson pinned against the cage. Robinson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Robinson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ferriera tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Robinson is in Ferriera's guard.
Robinson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ferriera swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ferriera is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ferriera has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Robinson is working away from the top position though.
