The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson fails with the takedown.
Cent darts in trying to clinch

and Wilson counters by moving into the clinch.
Wilson wants a takedown but no success here.

Jordan Cent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brown Wilson.

Wilson has clasped his hands together around Cent's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cent tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wilson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Wilson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cent sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Cent parries the strikes from Wilson easily there. Wilson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cent to escape.

Wilson wants to control for a moment but Cent uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
