Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Hopkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Tritter!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hopkins drives through with a takedown into Tritter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Michael Tritter hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Anthony Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tritter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hopkins seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Tritter is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hopkins feints and as Tritter raises his hands in defense, Hopkins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tritter is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Hopkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Tritter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tritter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tritter is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hopkins wants to control from the top but Tritter keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

With the fighters up against the cage, Hopkins throws an elbow but misses.

Hopkins takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Tritter counters with a huge head kick that drops Hopkins! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Tritter!
Michael Tritter really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that TFP Graphics - Pit Inc logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
