The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a head kick that misses.
Li tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Warrior counters with a shoot takedown. Li fights it but they end up in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Warrior trying to control but Li is working from the bottom.
Li can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Warrior controls the pace.
Warrior working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Li's head.
Warrior stays in close to Li's body and controls the position.

Warrior postures up in Li's guard and throws a big left but Li blocks it.

Li really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Warrior. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A looping hook to the body misses from Li. Warrior does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ultimate Warrior is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Li tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Warrior manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Li misses with a hook to the ribs.
Warrior doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Li misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Warrior.
A nice left hand lands by Li.
Li lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Warrior wants a takedown but no success here.
Li tries to work over Warrior's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Li lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Warrior backwards.
Warrior has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Li avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Li is staying active underneath Warrior, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Warrior seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ultimate Warrior overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Warrior lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Warrior is working for a submission of some sort.
Li is trying to stand up here but Warrior is controlling him well.
