Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Eduardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Eduardo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Eduardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eduardo looks to score with a jab to the body but Kim is just out of range.
Kim looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Eduardo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kim checks it well.
Kim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Eduardo.
Eduardo lands with a right hand.
Eduardo misses with a series of wild punches.
Eduardo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kim dodges the punch combination from Eduardo.
Kim misses with a leg kick.
Eduardo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kim fails with the takedown.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eduardo tests Kim's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Eduardo throws the kick towards the body but Kim avoids it.

Eduardo misses with a body shot.

Eduardo drops Kim with a nice combination! Eduardo dives into Kim's guard, looking to finish!


It looks like Jin Kim has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kim looking to hit a scissor sweep but Eduardo is one step ahead there.
Kim utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Eduardo throws an elbow that misses. Kim uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Eduardo's guard. Nice move by Kim!
Eduardo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kim throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Eduardo wants to sweep here but Kim controlling him for the moment.
Kim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eduardo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Eduardo looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Eduardo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Kim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kim wants to control from the top but Eduardo keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kim passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kim tries to move into full mount but can't pass Eduardo's legs.
The ground and pound from Kim seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Eduardo parries the strikes from Kim easily there. Kim is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Eduardo to escape.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Eduardo dodges the ground and pound from Kim.

Kim gets to mount! Eduardo was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Eduardo wants to hold on but Kim pushes him away.

Kim goes for an armbar but Eduardo turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Eduardo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Eduardo stands up over Kim, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Eduardo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Jin Kim's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Eduardo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kim lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


It looks like Carlos Eduardo has been cut.
Eduardo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kim.
Kim takes one to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Eduardo throws a right hand that Kim ducks under and follows up with a left that Kim also avoids with ease.
Kim slips under a jab from Eduardo.
A jab from Eduardo finds it's way through Kim's defenses.
Eduardo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kim makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kim tries to clinch up.
Kim moves in looking to clinch but Eduardo pushes him off.
Eduardo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Carlos Eduardo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Eduardo scoring well with a low kick there.
Eduardo misses with a double jab.
Eduardo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Kim drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kim slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Eduardo seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Kim passes Eduardo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kim winds up and cracks Eduardo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kim stalling away here and it's allowed Eduardo to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Eduardo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jin Kim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Kim misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kim shoots in looking for a takedown. Eduardo tries to sprawl out of it but Kim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eduardo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eduardo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kim chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Eduardo can pounce on him.
No luck for Kim with that takedown attempt.
Carlos Eduardo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kim.
Eduardo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Eduardo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kim. That did some damage!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Eduardo drops Kim with a right and a left! Eduardo comes rushing in but Kim regains his composure and manages to keep Eduardo in guard.

Eduardo cracks Kim with a solid left hand.

Eduardo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kim is trying to maintain the position but Eduardo is very close to passing his half guard.
Eduardo throws a strike but Kim avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Eduardo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Eduardo throws an elbow that misses. Kim uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Eduardo's guard. Nice move by Kim!

Eduardo is controlling Kim's posture.
Kim distracts Eduardo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Kim throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Eduardo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
