Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Brookins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brookins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kickstart. Stevens has chosen In the Dark as his entrance music. Jonny Stevens has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jonny Stevens!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brookins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stevens's guard.
Stevens looking for a sweep. Not yet Stevens, not yet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brookins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Brookins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stevens swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stevens has control of Brookins's left arm, preventing Brookins from doing any damage.

Stevens lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brookins!

Stevens dives in and grabs Brookins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brookins pushes down on Stevens's head and hops out.

That was a close round but I would say that Jonathan Brookins will probably get the nod.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jonny Stevens hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Stevens closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Jonny Stevens.

A very excited looking Jonny Stevens rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
