Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Purple Urcle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Nolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Purple Urcle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Nolan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Urcle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nolan can't do much from the bottom here.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Urcle tries to get to his feet but Nolan is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Urcle in his guard.
Urcle wants to stand but Nolan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Urcle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Nolan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Urcle jumps guard but Nolan stands there with Urcle around his waist. Urcle gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Nolan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Urcle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nolan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Urcle wants to improve his position but Nolan is controlling well.

Nolan clinches up with Urcle and pushes him back against the cage.

Nolan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Urcle uses from the top position.

Nolan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Urcle off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Urcle is looking to control Nolan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Urcle avoid being mounted?

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Nolan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Urcle's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Urcle wants to get back to his feet but Nolan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nolan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Urcle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nolan wants to sweep here but Urcle controlling him for the moment.

Nolan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Urcle is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nolan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Urcle's back instead.

Nolan is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Urcle is defending well though. Nolan let's go of the attempt for now.
Nolan really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Urcle.
Nolan misses with a punch to the head.
