Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Homero Lacerda!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacerda tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sakkinen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lacerda somewhat.
Lacerda getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Good exchange - Lacerda coming out on top.
Lacerda throws a head kick that misses.
Lacerda lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sakkinen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sakkinen takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lacerda throws a head kick that misses.
Lacerda avoids the body shot from Sakkinen.
Lacerda tries a head kick but it misses.
Lacerda manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sakkinen on his heels. He'll look to pass Sakkinen's guard now, I'm sure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lacerda drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sakkinen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sakkinen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sakkinen!
Sakkinen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lacerda is looking to regain half guard here but Sakkinen keeps moving and retains side control.
Lacerda seems a little lost for a moment, as Sakkinen dominates the positioning.
Sakkinen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lacerda throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sakkinen's head.
Lacerda shoots in but no luck this time.
Lacerda throws a head kick that half lands.
No luck for Lacerda with that takedown attempt.
Mikko Sakkinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Homero Lacerda.
Lacerda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sakkinen clobbers Lacerda with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A head kick misses from Sakkinen.
Sakkinen misses with a straight right.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sakkinen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lacerda closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Lacerda takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lacerda uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sakkinen.
Sakkinen staying out of range there.
A head kick misses from Lacerda.
Sakkinen blocks a head kick by Lacerda.
Sakkinen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lacerda.
Lacerda swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lacerda cracks Sakkinen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sakkinen is rocked!
Sakkinen switches off momentarily and Lacerda cracks him with a monster right hand! Sakkinen topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Lacerda dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Lacerda!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Homero Lacerda!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Homero Lacerda waved his t-shirt featuring Fight Night Nutrition's logo in front of the cameras.
