The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutombo connects with a single shot there.
Nice defenses there by Mutombo.
Pelle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sloppy strikes from Mutombo. Those never looked like landing.
Mutombo walks into a jab.
Some wild striking there from Pelle.
Mutombo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mutombo tests Pelle's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Pelle!

It looks like Mister Mutombo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mutombo throws a series of punches but Pelle moves out of range.
Mutombo swings widly with a right hand

and Pelle counters with a crisp one two that drops Mutombo! Pelle thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mutombo to his feet! Mutombo is in big trouble!
Mutombo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pelle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mutombo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pelle misses with a few strikes there.
Pelle closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mutombo! Pelle dives in looking to finish! Mutombo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amis Pelle!
A less than humble Amis Pelle misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
