The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lothbrok tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tanaka is able to avoid easily.
Lothbrok throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lothbrok looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tanaka tries to clinch but Lothbrok is having none of it.

Tanaka shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Lothbrok shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lothbrok is stalling here. Tanaka is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lothbrok seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Tanaka has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That was a close round but I would say that Rollo Lothbrok will probably get the nod.

Tanaka feints and as Lothbrok raises his hands in defense, Tanaka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lothbrok has his foot on Tanaka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tanaka works his way back into a safe position though.
Lothbrok controls Tanaka momentarily but Tanaka frees himself.
Tanaka has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lothbrok is proving hard to escape from.
Tanaka cracks Lothbrok with a solid left hand.

Tanaka is sitting in close to Lothbrok's body. Lothbrok has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tanaka is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tanaka is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lothbrok.
